Children Aged 5 & 6

These weekly one-on-one beginner lessons are designed for young first-time learners, sparking curiosity and creativity in a joyful, supportive environment.

In lessons, children will:

  • Learn through interactive, age-appropriate activities

  • Explore music through stories, games, and visual cues

  • Develop coordination through creative movement, both on and off the piano bench

  • Progress at their own pace, guided by imagination and play

  • Build confidence and feel proud of their achievements

THE YOUNG

Children  Aged 7+ 

Ideal for children who are beginning their musical journey or continuing from previous study.

Lessons focus on:

  • Building confidence and technical skill

  • Developing each child’s individual musical voice

  • Learning repertoire that supports expressive, confident performance

  • Strengthening technique and performance foundations

Students also explore:

  • Creative exercises and projects

  • Interpreting music with independence

  • Experimenting with ideas to make music uniquely their own

Parent-Child Partner Lessons

A special opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn with their child.

Each shared lesson includes:

  • One hour combining two interconnected learning experiences

  • Guided support for both child and parent

  • For families interested in language-rich learning, lessons are available in French, English — or a mix of both.


  • Each year, students design a unique project blending music, language, and imagination. Past projects include storytelling, illustration, narration, and animation.

  • Optional support for students wishing to pursue assessments:

    • Piano up to Diploma level

    • Theory Grades 1–5
